As a Chinese motor fan, I have to say that most of the Chinese people HATE the Chinese copy-cat cars. These horrible cars exist because some people want a Range Rover without paying the premium price (abs. hypocrite). Nowadays, the police cracks down drivers who modify the copy-cat cars into what these cars copied. These cars are worse than junk, period. These copy-cat manufacturers are either on the edge of bankruptcy or being bought by other electric car manufacturers. So when the Chinese cars hit the US market, you are not gonna see these cars.
If Chinese brands come over here, how much more marketshare could the US automakers afford to lose before they get squeezed out of the business?
I'm on a budget so I'll wait for a cheap Chinese knockoff of a cheap Chinese knockoff.

Scotty doesn't know about china cars. I have a friend in China and they don't want them. If they are poor they buy the china made car. If they have money they buy Lexus or jeep is there favorites.
