Theres specific too to ac that will replace the schrader valve without releasing freon. $20 on amazon. Works alright. It isolates it with a ball valve.

I agree. Thank you GM. My Schrader valve on the high side of my 1996 k2500 is not replaceable. I had to replace the whole line assembly. $$$
