Can we really blame Ford though? the entire industry has completely outsourced parts to China and Mexico and here or there to Japan/Korea/Taiwan

Wouldn't be surprised if those Driveshafts are made in China. That's where Ford sent most of the stuff they used to make at Sterling Heights Axle Plant.
We will be getting a new vehicle in the next year. I can say now that it will be a Toyota or a Kia for certain. Domestic vehicles are junk in these times.
