guess the last Mustang you had must of been a 60's Mustang to only get 12 miles to the gallon on the highway. I have had many Mustang's in my 52 yrs ranging from 1971 to 2007 all V8's but the 2007 V6 Heat Edition and I have never gotten less than 18 miles per gallon.

Rented one recently, and man, I would LOVE to have one. It was a blast to drive. It was the v6, plenty of get up and go. Sounded great, too, really throaty for a v6.

You know what would be really freaking cool is take the friend in off of it and make it look like a 65 or 66 Mustang

You know how to make the noise get rid of the muffler

The V6 and V8 DO NOT LOOK ALIKE

Amazing how educated you are, I just recently bought a 2020 5.0 with the 10 speed and yes gear hunting was a huge issue no matter what mode it was in. Had to get it tuned to solve the issue and the 10 speed with a tune is a beast.

The V6 in my 2018 Taurus has plenty of pep and it is the base engine. No turbo
