Today we’re fixing the one thing about my AU Falcon that annoyed me the most – the saggy headliner! The plan – remove my existing saggy headlining, strip off all the old material and foam, and then replace it with some new headliner fabric from eBay.

As it turns out, the choice of glue is extremely important here – and whilst I tried my best to select the best product for the job, I didn’t quite hit the mark. Luckily, with a bit of time and patience, things turned out pretty good!

— About MotoringBox —
MotoringBox is an Australian based automotive news website & YouTube channel run independently by Sean McKellar since 2009. I began by covering popular motoring shows like The Grand Tour, Top Gear & Wheeler Dealers – but more recently I’ve started focusing on creating quality content about Australian car culture. I work a day job and publish videos in my spare time, so I’d like to apologise in advance for my slow release schedule! Thank you for your patience and I hope you enjoy my videos.

All Holdens and fords made in Australia all suffer from the same problems. You would think they would've soughted their shit out, by offering the Australian public a better product. Either they didn't care or they were incompetent, or just realised cars were a throw away item, like most of the world manufacturers. That's why Holden and Ford don't manufacture in Australia anymore. Just a damn shame.

Btw, this model Ford is the ugliest Ford ever made. Fuckn yuck. Even when they were brand new. I got given three of these about 2 years ago. I burnt them all, in the paddock.

Recommend septone spray contact adhesive worked well on mine.

I used kitchen laminate benchtop adhesive. Works like a charm and unparalled adhesion.
