Improper repair by all means, but im all about sticking it to the man when they scald prices like that. Right to repair is for every american to do what they can to fix their property, so i applaud you for this. Hopefully it lasts for a good while lol

Its ACTUALLY called a Hangar Bearing. Thays is the correct name for the part you changed, i hope you know most the price would of been labour…..most people arent mechanics dude.
