Do that but next time go get a tube of roofing sealant from Menards or home depot and fill all tha gaps. Tape off one end and full every gap. Itll be so much stronger

I was a mechanic for 27 years please don’t do this to your vehicles. It’s only a short term fix or unless you want to invest in rubber hoses. This is what we call half ass if it gets you to the shop that’s fine.
