There are weird Tesla owners, sure, but all the ones I've met have been smart, normal people. Some of them (like me) also like V8s and classic gas cars. Take it easy, Scotty.
I'd say the infiniti dealer tech is probably not very proficient if its just the blower resistor.

I just visited a high end Tesla Dealer and I asked them if they would ever design a Hybrid car. They said "NEVER- We are dedicated to support the Democrats and remove all gasoline cars from the USA". I told them that they should have spent some money like all the other car manufacturers and allowed Tesla parts to be purchased at auto shops. But Tesla refused to allow outside mechanics to service their cars. You have to pay expensive dealer prices.

Our f350 gets about the same gas mileage when pulling heavy loads as it does empty. Lol
