    Like you mentioned, there is a LOT of infrastructure that needs to be changed. That being said, the inefficiencies and imperfect ways the EV's are currently being used does NOT mean they are not worth TRYING or at least thinking about.
    Many many many new technologies in and out of the automotive industry have had hiccups as they were created and adopted.
    It may never work out, but you really have not pointed out anything that could never improve or change OR make them completely useless.
