Whiny noise? Maybe, Scotty, but I've noticed that a lot of vehicles with port fuel injection make a whistling noise when you run them at middle power levels. That is, revs in the 2000s to 3500s, and throttle postions in the 30% to 70% range. I think this is strictly a function of the amount of air passing into the intake system and over the throttle plate. Air whistles when it moves through a restrictive passage at velocity. The 390 FE I had in my first car, a 1970 F100, made the same noise at about the same speed and load. My current vehicle, a 2002 Goldwing, makes the same noise between about 1600 and 3000 rpm at half throttle. This isn't something to worry about, assuming that's what it is; it's just the sound of air moving through the intake system as it's supposed to do.

A good modern fuel gauge will not fluctuate but older American cars did even bran new. Some GOOD INFO here.

Milky substance is emulsion, it shows the oil is doing its job removing water and acidic properties from you're engine. Make sure the car engine is breathing properly, removing back pressure. If it gets to bad looks like it needs a surgeon.
