We haven't used r 12 for decades
As I am aware, older r12 vehicles can be retrofitted to utilize r134. Any shortcomings?
note to self: refrigerant be specific with product
Don't use those cans at all. It's all about the weight in the system and it's stupid specific.
If the ac is blowing cold on a 2-3 year old tacoma you got fucked over
Dear Scotty I am buying my first car and only have $4,000 to spend where should I look for something reliable? Private seller? Dealership? I am new to this and need a good A-B daily driver
Don't use the can refrigerants. They often contain a leak sealer which will blow the vacuum pump on a shop's HVAC machine.
You'll effectively have to replace your entire AC system (pump, hoses, heat exchanger, condenser) if you use one of these cans.
AC does not need refill if it does not leak only time you it's when your AC leaks
My ac is sometimes running hot. It's not when I'm stopped or any identifiable pattern I can tell that's causing the problem. Like once a week it just starts blowing hot air until I shut it off and on and it stops.
The fittings are different so you can’t put the wrong one in anyway 🤨
