Welcome to 802 Garage! This is just a quick intro to my series I’m going to call “Don’t Pay A Mechanic.” Now, the name of this series is meant to tell you “Don’t pay a mechanic, when you can do it yourself.”
That’s not to say that you shouldn’t go to a mechanic for a job that’s complicated or you need done quickly or you don’t have the correct tools for. But there are so many things that the average person can do on their car that I think people should try for themselves. So that’s why I’m calling it, don’t pay a mechanic.
I also know all about not having the money to pay a mechanic $250 for a brake job when you can do it yourself for maybe 50 or 60. So in this series I’m gonna show you things like how to change worn out windshield wipers, how to swap out a non working headlight bulb, how to get off wheels that are really stuck on an old rig, and even slightly more complicated tasks like changing an alternator, or maybe a starter.
So if you wanna learn more about working on your own car and how to save money, then Don’t Pay A Mechanic is a series you’ll probably enjoy. I’m not sure exactly what entries will be in the series over time, but keep an eye out and you’ll see a lot more.
So remember, don’t pay a mechanic when you can do it yourself.

Nice new channel picture! I'll be posting a header install video tomorrow on my fiancées car, I'm about half way done now but had to stop cause I ran out of light, I need to get back into making a few videos a week and get back on the mustang though there just so many little things it's so annoying lol can't wait for these videos to start coming out though they look interesting!!!
