I bought a 89 suburban at a auction, i am mechanically inclined though, for $400 ran great til it was stolen. Wasnt an auto auction. Was misc action. Did buy a 95 ford taurus at a wrecker auction for 425$ i drove it almost 2 yrs no probs, even pulled trailers with it, 2 at a time even looked like a train on the highway goin 60-65. 1 trailer was old chevy truck bed trailer mod and then i hooked my 6×8 utility to the bumper of that trailer. Can prob find pics and vids online somewhere of it. In okc. I seen lots ppl takin pics and vids while I pulled these trailers 2 the flea market every weekend lmao. Ive even got cpl pics of my own on an old phone somewhere lol. Point is u can get some good auction finds if u know how 2 look the vehicle over…. Most ppl dont though
I like EBay. A lot safer and more legit!

best deals i have found, were from just getting out and driving in the country side, seeing a old car i like and just asking the person at home , if they want to sell it.
I bought my 19901 celica at an auction Scotty! I got lucky i guess but it ran fine , still run this day and I only paid 475 buks for it
