Seems like both are outstanding compact utility vehicles with great track records for reliability and practicality. I'm on Team CR-V because I've had 2 now, but I've heard great things about the new hybrid RAV4.
I like the crv looks better than the rav4 , my opinion. Both are very reliable.

I went from a 2003 Toyota Corolla to a 2013 Honda Crv lx. I only bought the honda crv because after the break lines dediced to go out on me after having 209,000 miles. It was either get another corolla or a crv I went with the crv because being 5ft 9 inches the corolla was kind of tight and didnt have to much leg room for the passengers in the back seat. The crv has alot of leg room and more comfortable ride.

I have a 2013 crv with 115k miles and I love it! Front breaks and rotors keep wearing out though and it does get a little rattly and noisy after 100k miles but it’s a workhorse!
