Civics are fantastic. Seats are just not comfortable in any I have been in.
got myself nice 2018 used corolla. love it
An old gentleman stopped beside me with corolla station wagon. 1984.
Talk to me when you find a drivable 1984 civic.
Bought my 2007 Corolla S in 2010 and have not visited a mechanic ever since since , not even tuning.
Scotty, I’ve owned nothing but Honda and Toyota vehicles. I had a 93 Civic Si with over 450,000Km, and currently own a 2003 Corolla S with over 460,000km on it. Most reliable cars I have owned!
You can buy either brand and keep it in the family’ for 30 years as long as it’s maintained and u don’t live in the rust belt 👍
Bruh… my luck… I’ve been looking for a 2012 corolla and a 2013 honda civic and he didn’t talked about either of them… I always wanted to know how reliable and worth buying these 2 are.
I'm planning on buying a 9th gen civic coupe this summer.
I had A UK Toyota GT Twin Cam Corolla/ Lsd16 valve 1987/ kept it for 12 + years wish i wasn't forced to sell far to cheaply (my fault), ive never forgiven family member who wouldn't wouldnt let me Park it on his large parking Area.. 56K on CLock ..
Hi Scotty, great video comparison on Corolla vs. Civic….Toronto, Ontario, Canada 🇨🇦….I have owned Hondas for over 3 decades and most recently especially in the last 10 years my heart gravitates towards the Corolla or Toyota products. Toyota have consistently made bulletproof proof vehicles and when they had spotty years, it was corrected very quickly. Honda on the other hand, became complacent and started to cut corners especially last 10 years. The good reliable Civic were from early 80s right up to 2000. The Civics from 2001 right up to 2021 is a notch below in quality to Corolla. Corollas in the last two decades gets better and better especially in handling characteristics. The Hondas products that I had experienced issues that were made in the last two decades had the chronic rust around wheel wells, electrical wiring issues, balls joints and subframe rust, paint clear coat issues, starter issues, EVAP issues and the list goes on. Toyotas that I had owned especially in the last two decades have been bulletproof. Yes bulletproof. Toyotas are annoyingly reliable especially the Made in Japan models. Till this day, there are many Toyota models sold in Canada are Made in Japan (Corolla hatchback, CH-R, 4Runner) to name a few and we have not touched on Lexus’ Made in Japan. Not one Honda/Acura that is sold in Canada is Made in Japan.
