That’s when you say fuck the drums, pull em both off replace em with rotars and pads, so much easier to work on

This is so true ahahahaha, I remember the first time I changed drum brakes on my 2000 Toyota tundra when I was 22 (I'm 23 now lmao), the shoes were good but there was a leak on my brake piston (I think that's what it's called the thing that pushes out in both directions on the shoes) but I spent about 4 hours on it bc it was my first time with some trips to AutoZone to get new springs etc, I take off my other side and realize they're completely opposite ahahaha. Went to watch a YouTube video and realized the other one was correct and spent another 2 hours flipping the side I started with was definitely a fun learning experience

That’s right Eric, well said! My sister had a dealership do that to her car…I won’t mention any names. I had to fix it for her and it cost me a pretty penny the drum in hat rotors were destroyed cause of the jackass “technician” at the local “not Infin*** stealership”.

Oh yeah, I just remembered…not only that but they had put two primary shoes on one side.

The big shoe goes on where the hand break cord is on. Makes sense for the big one to break more

That's only true of you DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING! I learned every configuration of drum brakes and was tested on each… never work on brakes unless you're entirely confident you know EXACTLY what you're doing!
