You know now that i think about it my dad might’ve spend less money on cars than you Scotty.
He has a honda bought for 1,800 with 98,000 now has 235,000 still running. Also a Silverado that had 35,000 miles for 2,000$ because it had a transmission issue and me and him went to the junkyard bought another one and still going , hes taken it to Mexico a couple times now.
    Transmission was 270$
He learned how to work on cars just reading books in his free time.

At about 7:30 Scotty was getting a little hot under the collar about spending too much money on expensive parts.

I bought a can of Liquid Crystal back in the early 90's. It still polishes great, almost out and they stopped making it years ago.
I wonder if Liquid Glass is still on the market?

As for those AGM batteries, namely Optima, The latest skinny and actual personal experience, is since they are being made in Mexico, nope, don't last as long as the original makes.

My favorite tires are the Pirelli Scorpion Verde all season. They might last 70,000 miles. They ride very quiet and smooth, with good rain traction. The Michelin tires cost more, might last a little longer, but mine had age cracks before the tread was worn out. See the FortNine YouTube videos for motorcycle tires and gear.

People who buy cheap no name brand tyres are putting their lives at risk, and everyone elses. My cars stopping distance alone is probably 50% lower than people who use cheap chinese tyres, and that doesn't account for other stats.
