    Make sure the head lights are turned back off before reconnecting the battery!

    My 04 RAV4 runs like crap after I do that – – for a few miles while the computer re learns proper mixture & timing. I think I have a small leak somewhere in the brake circuits. Replaced master cylinder and reset and it took a long time before ck engine and trac lights came back on. TPMs are also old so, the low tire light is on. Dash is lit up like a Christmas tree but, car runs great – 178,000 mi.

    Didn't you say in a previous video that a Mercedes dealership must reset settings in their cars after a battery is changed? Isn't this the same thing?

    Don't do it on a newer VW and some European cars or you'll need a dealer scanner to do TPS adaptation.
