I had the opposite problem in my 2000 Honda civic hatchback. Would barely start in the mornings & would have to let it warm up for half an hour or else it would stall on acceleration. Once i drove it, it would be great throughout the day but figured it was a fuel problem. Come to find out my distributor cap was bad and fixed everything. Hope this helps anyone else out.
I had similar problem last year with an old v6 toyota where the car would only start with the pedal floored. Turned out the idle air control valve was clogged with carbon. Took apart the throttle body and blasted everything out with throttle body cleaner. Fixed the problem.
Hi scoty my dad has a 2007 Nissan Quest he bought it in 2010 preowned it’s was a good car for a couple years in 2015 it caught some part of the motors on fire he took it to the mechanic shop and they didn’t do none so we bought a new truck f150 so since the family grew we tried moving back to the quest it broke a lot frequiently so rn we trying to fix it but it’s the computer I think is it worth it fixing it or should we buy a new one my mom wants a Ford Flex or a Dodge Durango what do you think we should do should we fix or sell the van thanks what are some cheap 3rd row suvs with no cvj’s and under 5,000 I hope u read this were located in Houston!
Scotty, you just described my exact issue with my 2002 Honda Civic, after I drive, it sputters a little tiny bit on the next crank..Its not a problem but, Hell since you're giving a solution I'll try it.
