My 2012 has nothing but the manual dials, I prefer them. Heats quicker and cools quicker than the ones where you set a target temperature.

Sounds like most of today's modern vehicles are like the high end vehicles of the past with lots of technology that gets very expensive to fix . Buying a used vehicle in the future might be a crap shoot on what you might get and could turn out to be a money pit .
