Can we use the vacuum on the charge line if we only have 3 way gauges?

  2. Soul of an Unknown Soldier

Me and the homies love the Scotty Kilmer channel

    yeah… I got a 1989 dodge dakota with a 3.9L. NOW let's mess with the A/C.

  4. The MTB channel

I have a 1996 Dodge Ram 2500 hundred with a 12 valve inline 6 which is apparently a really good engine but the truck doesn’t want to move 90% of the time and when it moves it goes 5mph and I have to bring it to high rpm. What do you think the issue is and is it worth fixing?

I only use AC when it becomes unbearably hot which is kinda rare for me since I just roll down the windows as my first option. I guess I'm not one of these 'minor to moderate discomfort must be attended to immediately' people. Not hating on people who are like that….I know we are all different. Just sayin.

I got to recharge my car, you say easy but that looked far from easy

  7. Singing Tallit

tell them about the common electric fan problem in Hondas. the electric fan up front will die and keep the ac from kicking on. mine is currently getting stuck instead of spinning, I have to bump it manual to get it spinning

  8. Tom will

With the price of gas these days, i will only use the A/C when my ball sack is cooking.

What happened to the old refrigerant? Did the car come in without any or did you evacuate it prior to doing the video? If so, a video on how to dispose of the old stuff would be nice since many cars are just low on refrigerant, not completely empty.

Those big cars back in the 70s like Ford LTDs could put out air so cold that you could see your breath inside the car on a 90 degree day. But those small cars in the 70s and 80s A/C systems hardly put out any cold air at all and the compressors generally gave up the ghost after about a year.
