Two comments… I have a 2007 Hyundai Entourage with the 3.8l V6; it has a paper filter like what Scotty doesn't like. I was skeptical about it at first, but having changed the oil a couple of times, I really like this particular oil filter setup. On this car, the filter is on top of the engine, so when you remove the cap/filter, all of the oil drains down into the engine; you do not have to crawl under the car on your back to install a new filter; you still have to go under there to drain the old oil, however. The second comment is when I go to have my car inspected, I inform them that if there is any reason why the car will not pass, to just fail it and give me the list of things that need to be fixed and I'll return to have it re-inspected. When I took my car to NTB for an inspection, I didn't mention this and they tried to charge me $30 to replace the third/center brake light; the law had just changed in Texas requiring that the center brake light work if it is installed; I did not know, so I didn't check it. NTB just did the lamp install without asking me, so I told them to put the old bulb back. Instead of doing that, they offered to just charge me $3 for the bulb; which I agreed to.
No emissions test required here in Oklahoma. ?
“Curse the evil swine”…….awesome line!
Pennsylvania, inspection and emissions test. Horrible………….and Pennsylvania has the WORST automobile laws too.
It's all about the money. Nothing more and nothing less.
Scotty – Tried to give you a thumbs-up, but it ignored me several times when I tried to punch the thumb. This has been going on, with me at least, for weeks. Doesn't happen with any other sites. Hope this isn't a general problem, though with the size of your audience, it might not matter much.
