Change oil, filter and fuel filter! Shop vac and shake out air filter and replace it once every 2 years with quality 1. ?
Did he say that nobody knows how to fix nowaday cars and trucks? There're machines built by man and when you understand them they're really not that complex as some people like to think.

Computers suck, and I want to pull out my 5vzfe engine out of my Toyota hilux and put a 350 chev or holden 308 into it !
The 1st gen Corvair wasn't very good. That's the one that inspired Nader's screed. I would avoid it. The 2nd generation was an entirely different animal. GM completely re-vamped the suspension in that one, giving it basically a slightly downgraded version of the Corvette's suspension. It's a very, very good handling car and suffers none of the flaws that Nader highlighted. The restyled body is also among the best examples of beautiful 1960s cars. It is well worth the effort of restoring.

@scottykilmer i have w 2005 chevy cobalt 2.2 it starts for like 20 min then shuts down showing power down/engine disabled help

Hey Scotty are the Chevy 2018 4 cylinder duramax Colorados reliable vehicles? There is a lot of mistrust in Trinidad about the longevity of these vehicles. That being said I still went ahead and bought one.
