hay man, so I saw a video that said an 2 alternaters can run each other and your house for a good long while. is there any truth to this?
This video made me realize both my battery and alternator are bad my car is basically in great condition but runs like crap. Has 100,000 miles and realized out of all things I’ve done to my car is not change battery and alternator.
I have a 2008 Chevrolet cobalt and the battery is in the back of the trunk its a 4 door

In Australia it’s now almost impossible to buy a non maintenance free battery. Extremely frustrating when prices have increased 66% in the past 5 years.
Last battery that died on me was a maintenance free type. Noticed it was lighter than I expected. Was about 6 kg lighter than what the label said. Punched holes in the top and added 6L of water. Still using it 1.5 years later.
