The right to repair act had been curtailed.by NHTSA. Now, there are new developments. As a car owner you have the right to fix that car in a safe manner any way you see fit at any safe repair shop. Although most aftermarket companies have safety in mind and at shops like ours who use factory supplied scan tools and programing equipment and specialty dedicated wireless networks, well, that’s not good enough. Independent shops can provide as good or better service than a dealer ship with the proper training and have been for years. There is no reason why you should not be able to fix your car where you choose. NHTSA has now said the Massachusetts law that they had put on hold, has been allowed to go forward.
On this show we help people save money on car repairs by giving them car advice gained while working in our own shop every day. We help you #savemoneyoncarrepairs by helping you do it yourself or knowing what to look for.
