I just replaced my serpentine belt on my moms 17 HRV at 40k miles and did the transmission fluid | coolant | and brake fluid | and spark plugs $1000 invested since she bought it new in November 2016 yes I know spark plugs and serpentine belt could have waited till 80-100k but I rather spend $200 on them every 6 years then wait that long and have one or the other fail that’s just me

Also make sure your doors hinges, rubber seals, locks and handles are well lubed before winter. Otherwise you wont be able to open your door or might end up breaking a handle.
