    I grew up driving older trucks.Even now I over steer .Probably always will

    Is it bad for a power steering system if one moves the steering wheel all the way right or left, as in parallel parking? I heard that doing so can cause excessive pressure and damage.

    When I first started driving in the 80’s I thought I had to move the steering wheel back and forth like I saw on tv, I was shocked the first time I actually drove and found out I didn’t have to move the steering wheel back and forth… I was so confused!! 😂

    Driving an 80's Buick, the car suddenly shut down because of battery or something. It happened on a rodabout. I couldn't steer it without power and ended up running over a sign. Luckily it was in the middle of nowhere.

    My dad bought a lifted 2001 Ford F-350 and it has a lot of play in steering and some dead zones. So my question is that since there are larger tires than stock cause additional wear and strain on the steering system to cause it to need replacing?
