I BEG TO DIFFER MY AMIGOS…I've been using K&N Filters since 1970 …I'm a 60 year old dude and have owned about 12 vehicles since 1975…when I owned my first car in high school Junior Year ..
They rely on the oil to grab small particles. If you don’t oil em, they don’t grab fine particulate. Hold a K/N and a paper filter up to the light and see which one filters better. I did notice a dirtier MAF with a K/N so I went back to paper.
I have been having issues with my truck losing power and I remember that it worked fine after I filled up with gas! Thanks for that advice!
