    Some great suggestions there Bob – mind you, at those temps I'd have to be trying to deal with a major emergency 🙂
    It sure is easy to forget how much heat comes out of a heat gun.

    nice one Bob, never thouht about heating the tools, luckily we dont have temperatures that low over here and hardly any snow, but alot of rain in exchange.
    If i can't avoid working on the Jeep when it's cold or rainng i wrap the whole truck with a big tarpaulin and the only exit goes into the workshop where my 15kW oil fired space heater is blowing towards the door, makes it quite comfy, even under the car.

    Pre heating the tools is a good suggestion.  I don't have a hair dryer either, for the same reason.
