    I had a chip in the windshield of my F-Type. Unfortunately it immediately produced a 4 inch long crack, so I had to replace it. The windshield (non-Jaguar but oem quality) did cost like 1000€ with labour, which my insurance paid. So watch out for stone chips especially on the convertible where the windshield has not the support of roof.
