Is the AUTO GLYM GLASS POLISH any good for this job?

Most inspection stations wouldn't pass it.

What kind of wax is that? wood wax? silver wax? is the Glass polish the same product? I have the exact same problem in my car

I was excited when I found this video. Unfortunately I did not find this to work very well. I used the same wax and a buffing pad attachment for drill. With several coats of wax, and approx an hour of invested time, it looked better from the outside. But as soon as you get in the car the scratches look just as bad as before (and yes I am positive the scratches are outside the windsheild). Unless theres a different type of pad I should/could be using, looks like Cerium Oxide is the only way to go

I have the exact same scratch pattern on my windsheild I'm gonna try this.. if it doesn't work I'm going to plan B:
    A cynderblock

I have exactly the same problem so what would the m'quires cleaner be called in new Zealand? and do you absolutely need a polisher

any abrasive car polish will work  ie (TCUT) .just takes a long long time..  same on your lights on front of car.. electric polisher for best results though…

I just bought the Meguiar cleaner wax and manually wiped my windshield due to windshield wiper scratches. It didnt take long for them to disappear! Thumbs up! Thanks for the video.
