In this video we will go over how you can use a drill polishing kit to remove scratches and scuff marks from your car. By using a drill you don’t have to go out and buy an expensive polisher or pay someone to do this for you. I’ll go over the cutting wool pads, polishing foam pad and the finishing foam pad that comes with this 3″ kit. I’ll also how you can sand down the scratches and than polish and remove them all super fast and easy.

Great video Mr Wrench! Could this method be used to do whole panels. I have such swirly paint work. Compound by hand does not seem to do much. Alternatively should I just pay a pro to mop the whole car?

Do the headlights and why did you not use any other pads I figured you use one of the wool or whatever ones and one foam ones or does it not matter much since the polishing compound has the grit

Thanks so much, very helpful and also very well presented. I would like to know how to polish the l headlight lenses. I have an older motor home that has really poor lighting due to the cloudy lenses and I can't get a replacement easily.

You forgot the step of using polishing or glazing compound with the foam pads! 1sand, 2 rubbing/cutting compound, 3 polish/glaze compound, 4 wax.
