DIY Rolling Mechanics Stool t: I looked at mechanics seats/mechanics stools from all the major manufacturers; Snap-On, Kobalt, Torin, Omega, Craftsman, Harbor Freight, etc. and didn’t find one that met my standards, so I decided to make my own. This is the story of how I built my mechanics seat and why and how it is life changing to use it. Lots of fun cutting, welding and head scratching in this one. I hope to inspire you to make something for yourself that you want. The gratification you get from building something useful for yourself is unmatched by anything you can buy. There’s just something about making a tool for yourself that has a deep relevance that you just can’t get off the Snap-On truck. Be as good to yourself as you are everybody else and make yourself something cool and useful to change your life.

Looks great, Batman. I especially loved when you were cutting wearing your shorts and docksiders. Very confident and brave.
Great video! very informative.
It's nice to see someone putting honest hard work into something, even as simple as a chair
Bravo, well done! Now that’s a seat that will last a long time! 🙌👏
