The modification shown in this video was done on a w220 S-class mercedes.
In this video I show you how to repair your Mercedes key fob with a sheet of paper (card stock [less folds], bond stock, or regular printer paper will work)
Mercedes dealership quoted me $500 for a new copied key and also said that more than likely I would have to also change the ESV/ELV (key tumbler/ignition key lock) for an additional $800. Thats a total of $1,300.
Instead, using this method it may only cost you $0.01.
Yes that’s right only 1 cent.
And for those wondering, the check engine light seen at the end of the video was pertaining to a separate “bank 1, sense 1” issue. 🙂 😁 🤫
