I’m showing more detail than my first video (how to repair a large rusted out area on your vehicle) on the materials you will be using, there are many other materials and procedures you can use I’m just showing you the stuff I use on fast patching, the patching I do in these videos are just repairs this is not professional restoration but they do last a long time if you do it right. Part 3 is in editing should be on in a few weeks, I show all steps on the patching process from installing the patch to top coat.

Dude these are really very useful videos. I thought the only way to do work this nice was with a MIG welder and steel patch panels, but you show an alternate method which requires skill, but somehow doesn't feel as stressful as learning MIG welding. Thanks again.

I do wonder what color to paint my car. It was purple and someone painted the drivers side blue. The passenger side was sanded down to bare metal.
Going to attempt my own half assed repairs. I'm really tempted to just do a primer finsh like the cop cars in the Robocop movies. Don't know why but i liked it. No matter what I need a clear coat otherwise the paint won't hold though, right?

Nice filler you have. The one I got in my country called Excelo is absolute crap imo, b/c of the numerous pinholes it produces (I also hate having to put this blue, gray or green nitrocellulose putty too). I wish I could get 3m bondo cheaper. All the panel beaters where I'm from are in fact, idiotic butchers that cannot even do hole repair like this right.
wouldnt this area be considered high stress and therefore would require proper repair methods with suitable grade steel and welding techniques? Id hate to sell a car like this onto a family with the kids. Would never sleep right.
