I truly admire your spirit and attitude in tackling this conversion, it reminds me of myself 20 years ago lol, you are way more competent technically than i was, am, Thank you so much for sharing such fun informative and entertaining content in this conversion and sharing your enthusiasm, it is gonna be a really cool job when completed, it is all about being the master of your own destiny, i really like that, i lived in my van conversion and left the rat race for two and a half glorious years, unfortunately an ongoing health issue forced me back to once more living in a flat, such is life. cheers. Andy.

Maybe you could place a clear plastic protector in front of your camera, that way you could film when using power tools etc

I just thought to add this Mel, I hope you don't mind. A Dremel or similar can also be used with a sanding drum attachment. An angle grinder is a ferocious bit of kit and while I accept if things have got very bad and you have a large area an angle grinder and wire brush are excellent for fast paint and rust removal, for people without much experience of power tools, they might be a bit of a handful. A Dremel would be my preference for small patches of rust.

I know this comment is pretty late, but I just wanted to say thank you for a very helpful video. Referenced this many times while treating the rust on my sprinter and it's turned out great. Thanks to you I've saved a lot of money and now have a whole arsenal of products to tackle the rust on my daily driver too. 🙂
