#DIY #car How to maintain your car after winter? We have made for you a checklist for car maintenance. What should be checked after winter and what should be replaced for a long spring and summer trips? Watch our new video.

The first thing you should do when servicing your car is to change tires for summer ones. You can, of course, drive winter all year round, but it’s not great for your wallet or the handling of your car.

Second, replace the washer fluid. You don’t need the corrosive winter liquid cleaner anymore. You can safely use regular water. And for those who also need washing properties buy concentrate or ready-to-use summer washer fluid. We recommend replacing your wipers if you have not changed them for a long time. They have a particularly hard time in winter.

Third. After winter it is recommended to change engine oil with filter, of course. It makes sense to change to summer motor oil with a lower viscosity. Change also air and cabin filter. Why should you breathe in dirt and chemical reagents, it is springtime!

Fourth. Take care of air conditioner. Check operability and tightness of air-conditioning system of a car. Refill conditioner, if necessary.

Fifth. Check the level of all technical fluids, especially antifreeze. In winter, low level may still suffice, but at high temperatures there is a probability to overheat engine. Check brake fluid for water content. High water content in brake fluid is very bad for prolonged braking. Don’t believe it? Then watch a video on this subject on our channel.

Sixth. Do not be lazy to go to the elevators and look at the condition of the underbody and suspension of the car. What do we look at the suspension of the car? All rubber parts and steering. If necessary, replace torn dusters and broken silent blocks. And what else you’ll find. Change it right away, so you won’t end up with a more expensive repair later.

Seven. Check the brake discs and pads. If necessary, carry out preventive maintenance of the brake calipers.

Eight. Wash the car and don’t forget about the underbody. Check the bodywork for scuffs, scratches and bugs. Did you find any? You know what to do with them! 😉

That’s all about it! Anything to add? Write in the comments!
