That looked like it pulled barely over 3 Quarts of oil in an engine that takes 5 quarts….Although there would be no harm if it left 5-8 oz behind in the pan….we're talking about over a quart of oil remaining behind which is a considerable amount of oil. The hand pump ones are better than this as I've seen them get out roughly 98% of the oil. Plus always remember you also need to change you filter!

I tried it on my twingo and it never worked for some reason

I think this is a great little pump and if used appropriately can assist in some service jobs. However showing it in this way is like showing someone who boasts he can tile a bathroom in a morning. Yes you could, if you left the other tiles on and tiled over them, but to do it properly you’d want to take the old tiles off 1st. Ergo if you still have to jack up the car to remove the filter and change it then why not remove the drain pludg and drain at the same time you replace the filter. I appriciate the video was purely made to show the oil removal, but you wouldnt change the oil without changing the filter surely. Not an accurate description of oil change using this device to my mind. Although as I said i think the pump has it’s merits.

In this technic, you'll never change total amount of oil that your car having.I can't believe, that in the oil bowl is not still lots of oil that wasn't suck by this pump.

Does this work on changing the coolant fluid and if so, do you have a video how it's done?

So all the sludge, fillings, and any other contaminants can stay there for another 5k with the old oil filter. sweet

    Not all oil been extracted.
On all engine, doesn't matter the make and model, will still be more than a 1 litre left.
All gti has 4,6-4,7 litres capacity.

I wouldn't rely solely on this. Better to drop it from the bottom. I use a similar one for inbetween services on my fj cruiser. As its a bastard to get under unscrew everything etc etc. I see you like to live dangerously without a funnel there hahahahah
