In this episode, I work on replacing my lower ball joints. I go through the steps of how to remove the steering knuckle, hammer out the old ball joint, and press in the new ball joint. I also talk about how to inspect your ball joints and new parts before installation. I perform the installation using a socket and hammer to punch the old ball joint out and then using the ball joint press I borrowed to press the new ball joint in.

Why not just get OEM Honda balljoints to be safe ? The quality of metal and rubber are better than aftermarket ! Rockauto "quality control" is not good…. they have gotten to big now to care about the quality of parts they are selling. They have to rely on the companies.
