Hi, i was wondering if you could tell me what causes orange peel in the base coat? I have tried: different airpressures (10-30psi), different gun settings, different paint and different mixing ratios, different guns and tempratures. But i keep getting orange peel and am afraid to move to clear coat because i've heard it"s even harder to get right. I have also searched online but everytime its the same stupid anwer "There is a problem if you get orange peel in the base coat" YEAH NO SH*T BUT WHAT IS THE PROBLEM!?

So how much did you charge for the repair vs just getting a new number?

Hi Brian, I was just wanting your opinion on the spray on chrome finishes that are available in kit form these days. Are they worth using? And does the finish last in the elements well?

    Hey @paintsociety –

When sanding down a car for primer, should you use a DA All over first and then guide coat + block and then coat with primer?

Alternatively, block first and only DA later on?
