Seems anytime you hire a "pro" to do construction work, the "pro" hires novices to do the work.
Just break out the top 6" of the flange and install an offset flange, should give you an extra two inches either way. don't mount that toilet diagonal …. that would just be a bad situation.
Good luck on getting it done.
Take the plumbers butt to small claims court. Take pictures and you should be able to get your money back or have him fix it.
Useless plumber. You should back-charge him…
WHY would anyone use wood framing in a shop like that???…
Just tell your plumber you're going to give your visitors directions to his house if they need to use the restroom. 🙂 The shop is looking great nonetheless. Your neighbors are going to be impressed when they see all the neat stuff you'll be doing there. Just seeing your VW parked out front will become a conversation piece. Hope your autobody supply stores there will treat you better than the local contractors did. It will be cool to see your eventual house in place so we can see the complete D.I.Y./M.F.P. Ranch. Will you be putting up an overhead sign, with requisite horseshoes, over and wagon wheels to either side of your driveway entrance? If you want some cool art for your office, try to find some TC Cannon prints.
Right on Pete! F them! Do it your own way!
Maybe a stupid question I hate plumbing anyway but if he can't break up the cement because of the foundation issues then why not just have an upstairs bathroom? He could change the location of the plumbing how ever he wants to coming through his floor joists including adding his shower correct? I realize running upstairs Is not the best location for a bathroom of course but it would be complete with a shower? Pete Beautiful Shop!!!
Standard roughin for toilets is (TWELVE) 12" in millions of homes across the US. Plumber screwed up .
