Cool I'm not the only one who freaked out thinking Scotty died
This trend started with electric fuel pumps and fuel injection that gives only a few minutes to stop. Before that the battery could run the ignition for some time before it would die.
My Buick Riviera would be running fine as soon as I would come to stop it would die . Then after it was towed and dropped off it would start . What's up with that

My old Sienna kept running without an alternator charging the battery until getting home. Changing belt fixed it.
