How about a video showing us how to test an alternator?
These new electric cars don't have all those devices that stopped working breakdown or even oil not to mention filters belts police bearings timing chains carburetors Etc too many items to list.

So true. I've had that happen a couple of times. Number 2 would be a clogged catalytic converter. For me anyhow. Easy road side fix. Use a screw driver to punch a hole in the converter.
My heart dropped when i received the notification 😦🤣
When that alternator stops charging, the battery light on your dash should come on. The best thing to do,…. and hopefully it's daytime is to turn off everything electrical, radio, air conditioner heater, lights. Every battery has a "reserve capacity" it could be an hour or an hour and a half before it finally goes dead.
The ammeter will tell you what the alternator is doing !
