Happy Birthday Scotty! Yeah those manual Porsche's are decent as a once or twice a month kind of car. Just never buy an automatic, those are endless money pit transmissions lol.
If you are buying an older Porsche, buy from a previous owner who has records. Many Porsche owners are knowledgeable about what needs to be done or have made the updates. Find a good Porsche mechanic before you buy. These steps can reduce your overall maintenance cost over time. Unlike other cars, many Porsche models have appreciated in value over time. These are cars you buy for the enjoyment. If you are the overly cautious type get a Camry or Accord.
