I guess he can fix it so he can buy one?  Not sure why he wanted it thou… Maybe he got a great deal 2,300.00?

This tale of "handles like a race car and costs like one, too" reminds of a 1960's VW commercial. Two houses are shown the on the screen. (The one on the right is a broken-down log cabin, the one on the left, a stylish mansion.) Voiceover: "The man who lives in the house on the right owns a sports car. The man who lives on the house on the left is a sports car mechanic. Karmann Ghia."

Next, he'll buy a brand new RAM 1500 and will love it. I'll continue to wait. There's no way around it Scotty ?

"Scotty, what do you think about mechanics?"
    "They're endless money pits!"

Cracked windshield anyone! Hahaha, probably $2000 to replace.

Scotty – Eh just by an MR2 and be done with it

My Dad had a 2004 Carrera 4S Cabriolet with the 6 speed manual. Bought it in 2011 with 20k miles, sold it in 2013 with almost 24k miles. It was a toy, but he never had any problems with it.

In fact, I haven't seen a huge amout of issues out of Porsches, but it sure as hell ain't been a small amount either. They are just like every other car; if you take care of it and do all the required maintenance, it doesn't matter how much money you spend or how old it is, it will last you a good while.

Still wouldn't recommend buying one, because the prices brand new are absolutely sickening.
