My abs or trac control systems do not work and I do not care to fix it either I wreck I wreck oh well
I have a hardbody and an airbag 😎
If you're worried about Safety, don't get a new EV. Lithium battery's are a fire Wait'in to happen, while they lock you in to that inferno. I'll risk it, with an older ICE vehicle. Scotty, Thank's for sharing your Experience & Wisdom.

OK. But I don't drive a car to crash it. So I don't care.
Screw ABS
Scotty’s ran out of content I guess.
That explains why you don’t see a lot of older cars in the junk yard newer cars get into a fender bender and it’s totaled 😢
Newer cars are made lighter and cheaper and smaller. Thats why they need those crumple zones and air bags. Power and speed and fuel economy are the reason they are made this way. Your odds of survival in both during an accident are pretty much the same. Just made differently. Everyone uses the sales gimmick to explain the difference. Reality is older cars and trucks had a more ridgid frame, went slower, and had more solid chassis. They absorbed the impact. New cars are made lighter, faster, and are designed to crumble up around the occupant.
A high speed accident that goes past the average damage still results in occupant loss in both vehicles.
Stop pushing the sales gimmick. Neither car is safer. Both were safe in the time they were built. Today when we see a 55mph sign that really means 95mph. Back then we saw 55mph and we just went 50 because the engine was screaming at 55.
Times change. Simple as that.
My old clunker saved me from getting killed.
It ate the little new car.
