DIY AUTO SCHOOL CLOSED DOWN FOR GOOD — It’s All OVER – THE END
We take a visit to the Southwest Rod and Custom “DALLAS” and realize it’s all gone and will never return. Memories will live on but it’s time to say goodbye to the old and hello to the new. My Friend Pete is sad and lonely but time doesn’t stand still! Goodbye and Good Luck! Better Things to come in the FUTURE. From Now on it’s DIY AUTO SCHOOL “MOAB UTAH” ! I can relate to your last few minutes. I'm losing my place in Milwaukee. But we're packing up and heading west to hopefully the Wisconsin Dells area. My kids were born here, they grew up here. They still live here, but it has never really felt like home to me. Now that I'm getting a foot out the door, I'm going more where I want to go. Actually, mama wants to go there, but I'm fine with it. It's semi-familiar and a lot more beautiful. I'll miss Lake Michigan – I've never lived more than 8 miles from it, but it's not "home" here. It used to be a nice place, but it's too Illinois-y now. Too many Chicagoans moving up here.
That was my number one fear is the family compound sold off and some strange family living in it. I would be very sad.
I can understand why you are missing that place , I would to after all those years . Lots of work and memories Pete .
