A disturbing recent law concerning DIY automotive repair was uncovered and has been going around online. This law concerns Sacramento, but I’m sure there are other places with similar regulations as well and more will spread.

Don’t Believe it? Here is a couple links:

All the motorheads in Cali should convert to being Amish and get horses. After a few months of dealing with the horse poo they will be happy to see you with 6 TransAms and 2 Honda Civics on cinder blocks in your yard

Holy shit is this comment section a shit show. The law exists to keep appearances up, not remove right to repair. Sacramento pre 2010 was basically a hillbilly shit show and now it at least looks like a much nicer area due to all of their ordinances on what is and is not allowed to be seen from the streets.

Population control they want you to depend on them for anything and everything including fixing anything

It's true. My transvestite neighbor on the left took away my guns and my pothead neighbor on the other side took away my toolbox.

There's nothing wrong with your own auto repair. You can get rid of fluids safely, and don't leave cars in your yard. Some people can't afford to pay a repair shop $800 for something that they can do themselves for under $100. I'm still going to do my own repairs when I can. I'll go to jail before I stop.

You can't fix your car but you can get high and poop in the street . Yep that makes sense .

I mean, why hasnt cali just banned the internal combustion engine already? That's obviously their master plan.
Funny thing is, I live all the way on the other side of the country, and I feel the effects, because New York wants to be as progressive as Cali and adopted all their emissions laws, most frustrating aspect of this state
