So…after vinegar and water mix. Wipe clean with water. Let it dry, DA with 80grit, epoxy primer, then do body work. How should i prep the surface for filler? Should i do it to entire car at once or panel by panel since if the epoxy gets sanded it will become porous.
Hi Pete, I know this video is from years ago but I need some advice, my friend. I bought a 72 chevelle in pieces already stripped and disassembled. The roof has rust like you've described, it's not rot but it has many patches of deeper surface rust. Sanding removes some of it. If I hit it with vinegar water, how can I tell if it's taken care of or if I need to spray converter on some spots as you did?
