EVs are just better all around vehicles, you can make your own energy. low to no maintenance, torque, energy independence is key though you can make your own energy to charge the battery. I would like to see someone on this channel make a gallon of gas. I can make a kwh of energy with the solar panels on my roof. they are just better for consumers then ICE vehicles. open to debate this topic

My neighbor has 3 EV'$ and charging after midnight he pays the equivalent of 38 cents a gallon for gas.

I had 2 different smartphones. A Motorola and then replaced it later with a Samsung. In 6 months the battery goes bad in it. But you can't change the battery! They glue the phone together. You must heat the phone up twice, once for removing the back, and again to remove the battery. And in a small town no one works on them. So I went back to a flip phone. At least they don't cost as much to replace. Don't buy a smartphone if you can't replace the battery,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,
HOW do you REDUCE your electrical consumption when charging your car ????
YOU SHUT OFF YOUR WATER HEATER AND ELECTRIC STOVE, that way you are not going to INCREASE YOUR USAGE, it might actually go down BECAUSE the charger uses 30 AMPS, so does your water heater AND your STOVE. YOUR MONTHLY BILL SHOULD NOT GO UP !

Nothing stopping you from replacing your battery pack with an updated version in the future.
So I guess we'll just have to steal the sodium-battery technology from the Chinese. Wouldn't THAT be a switch?
